Scotland’s Urban Past: Your Town, Your Street, Your Story
From medieval monuments to skate parks, Chiara Ronchini will provide an introduction to the new nationwide Scotland's Urban Past project which helps communities throughout Scotland to take the lead in exploring and celebrating the history of Scotland’s towns and cities.
Discovering the Clyde: The Heritage of a River
Alex Adamson will talk about Discovering the Clyde, a newly launched 5-year programme about the 176km long thread of history that flows through Glasgow. The programme, led by Historic Scotland and the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments, encourages local people to explore how humans have created, been affected, changed and been changed by the River Clyde.
Alex Adamson is the Programme Manager for Discovering the Clyde.
