PAST EVENT: Become a Stirlingshire Urban Detective

Learn how you can add local landmarks to the map at this interactive workshop in Bannockburn.

Tuesday, August 2, 2016 - 17:00 to 18:30

Bannockburn Library, Greenacre Place, Bannockburn, FK7 8PA

Urban Detectives are members of the public who research Scotland’s towns and cities, discovering hidden stories of everyday places and contributing their knowledge to the Historic Environment Scotland archive.

This free workshop in Bannockburn Library from 5 - 6:30pm will walk you through the steps of adding stories, facts and photos of urban places to the Historic Environment Scotland online archive, Canmore.

For the best experience, we recommend you bring something to contribute. This could be memories of a place, a digital photograph of the house you grew up in, or family history facts about places your grandparents worked.

Suitable for heritage newcomers. Familiarity with the internet is required.

Due to limited capacity of the venue, booking in advance is essential.

Please note, a photographer may be present at Scotland's Urban Past events and the images may be used for promotional purposes.
