Building Detectives

Join Scotland's Urban Past to uncover the language of streets and buildings while gaining top tips on photographing them.

Workshop base: Aberdeen Town House, Civic Rooms (entrance at Union Street/Broad Street corner)

 

This practical workshop will help you identify, interpret and understand the buildings around you and changes to buildings and streets over time. It will also provide top tips for taking better photographs of your city surroundings.

 

This workshop is free and will be led by members of the Scotland's Urban Past team. The majority of the workshop will take place outdoors so please dress for the weather. Please contact us if you have questions about this workshop.

 

Please bring your own phone or camera and the associated cables.

 

A sandwich lunch will be served for participants who are also joining the afternoon workshop.
